About Department

The Department of Civil Engineering at Chhattisgarh Institute of Technology (CGIT), Raigarh is committed to developing skilled civil engineers with strong technical knowledge, practical skills, and professional ethics. The department provides quality education through a balanced curriculum that combines classroom learning with laboratory work, field visits, and project-based learning.

Students gain knowledge in key areas such as Surveying, Building Construction, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, and Construction Management. Well-equipped laboratories and experienced faculty help students develop practical skills required by the construction and infrastructure industries.
