Overview

Welcome to the Chhattisgarh Institute of Technology (CGIT), Raigarh.

CGIT Raigarh offers AICTE-approved Diploma and B.Tech programmes affiliated with CSVTU, Bhilai. Admissions are conducted through the Centralized Online Counselling process organized by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Chhattisgarh, as per the Government's admission rules.

Candidates are advised to check the official counselling portal https://cgdte.admissions.nic.in/in regularly for admission notifications, schedules, eligibility, merit lists, and seat allotment updates. Diploma EngineeringPassed 10th (Class X) examination from a recognized Board with the required eligibility as prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Chhattisgarh.3 Years (6 Semesters)
B.Tech EngineeringPassed 10+2 (Class XII) with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry (or other subjects as prescribed by AICTE/DTE) and fulfilled the eligibility criteria notified by DTE, Chhattisgarh for the respective admission session.4 Years (8 Semesters)

Lateral Entry Admission

Diploma: Candidates who have passed ITI (2-year Engineering Trade) or 10+2 with Science (PCM/Technical Vocational Subjects) from a recognized institution are eligible for Lateral Entry admission to the Second Year (Third Semester) of the Diploma programme, subject to the eligibility criteria and admission rules prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Chhattisgarh.

B.Tech.: Candidates who have passed a Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution are eligible for Lateral Entry admission to the Second Year (Third Semester) of the B.Tech programme, subject to the prevailing admission rules and eligibility criteria notified by DTE, Chhattisgarh.

Note: Eligibility criteria are subject to the latest admission rules issued by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Chhattisgarh. Candidates are advised to refer to the current admission notification before applying.

Note: All programmes are approved by AICTE and affiliated with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai.

Application Process
  1. Apply for PPT/PET Examination through the official CG Vyapam portal by completing the online application form within the prescribed dates. 
  2. Appear for the Entrance Examination (PPT for Diploma / PET for B.Tech) and obtain your merit rank. 
  3. Register for Online Counselling on the DTE Chhattisgarh Counselling Portal after the declaration of results.
  4. Pay the Counselling Fee and complete the registration process.
  5. Fill and Lock Your Choices of institutes and branches before the last date.
  6. Check the Merit List and Seat Allotment published by DTE.
  7. Report to the Allotted Institute with the original documents for verification.
  8. Pay the Institute Fee and complete the admission formalities to confirm your seat
